Breaking the Glass Ceilings

Most of us have created glass ceilings in life. How we should live our life. What careers we should have. What is expected from us. How we should behave. And so on.

But then, later in life you reach a point where you can’t continue living like that. You start to prioritize. You find out what matters to you and what doesn’t. Then you start creating your own terms, values and beliefs.

Especially where I live in this part of the world, there are societal and cultural pressures of different roles of a wife, mother, daughter, sister, citizen, worker and so on. It gets suphocating sometimes where you just don’t know yourself anymore.

Then after continuous and consistent inner reflection and processing of thoughts and emotions, you can’t just ignore or pretend everything is fine. The truth reveals itself no matter what.

At the end, as I always like to say. Love is all there is. Even if you try your best to fit in, mingle and meet others’ expectations, your truth and core remains there inside you and waits for you to refer back to it, remember it and reflect on it.
