Coming Back
Each time you catch yourself drifting in your thoughts and thinking, you come back and reflect: What am I doing? Does this make any sense? What makes sense? Why am I doing this? What is the deep roots of my thinking?
I believe this is a compassionate way of thinking. It relieves you of the unnecessary shame and self-blame. It also provides clarity and self-awareness.
So each time you drift and lose yourself in the midst of your thinking, come back. Go down to earth. Be humble enough to question your beliefs. Let go of your ego and identity. And just be human.
