Fear of the Unknown

When you face a situation and you don’t know the outcome, you feel scared, worried and nervous.

Especially if we are talking about a disease, treatments and possible outcomes of recovery or death.

I can’t describe how it feels. Lots of feelings come together. The chest and throat tighten. The tears rush in. Hands come together in the form of prayer. All interactions with the outside world just close off.

It is a very dark place to be in. The only light that appears here is the divine light. The hope that things will work out. The belief that this was meant to happen for the evolving and growth of everyone involved. The faith that we can’t control our good and harm. It is all in the hands of the One God.

So, don’t get discouraged. Lift yourself up. Bring your heart pieces together. Collect yourself on your prayer mat. Cry it out. Express all your fears and worries when talking with Allah. Because no one can understand and ease the pain you feel except Allah.
