Feeling Suphocated?

Many times you think: I am so suphocated. I don’t know what to say. There are many things I would like to say and do. But I can’t. Because they may get upset. Because I could shake the status quo. Because I need to maintain the peace. Because something bad could happen.

Because and because and because. Well its very useful to go further down the golden thread to know the origin of this thinking.

To go down and deep, you may compassionately enquire: Why you think they may get upset?

Your reply could be: Because I want to be loveable, have a place and not be abandoned.

Then you enquire: So you think you are not loveable and need to create a place to be accepted and loved?

Your reply could be: Yes.

Here the mental and emotional education begins. You start questioning those original thoughts.

You say: Is it really that I am not loveable? Do I really need to create a place to fit in and belong in the society? Is that really why I exist? Is that what I am made for? Did my creator create me to fit in and prove myself and my worthiness? Is that really the case?

When questioning, you would feel shaky and not stable. It feels like you are losing your personal identity and you don’t know yourself anymore. Believe me. It is a scary place to be in. But using your courage, boldness, strength, patience and stillness can help you cross over this darkness to light.
