How to be Human Again?

When isolating, fixating on being right and attaching to the past childhood trauma, I often ask this: How can I be just human? How can I detach from the ego roles of authority like I am the parent, I am the senior, I am the older, I am and I am?

We live life experiences and learn important lessons. But then we forget to reflect back our purpose behind our human existence.

So I recommend you doing the following practical exercise on paper with yourself to answer the question: How to be human again:

Example 1:

When you think: I can’t get creative at work. I gotta only follow the official instructions.

Instead reflect: What if I can get creative? What if I create my own terms and values? What if meaningful work do exist and my part is to humbly contribute where I can?

Example 2:

When you think: Who am I to publish a book? Who am I to go on my own way and create something unique and different?

You reflect: That’s ok. We are human. It’s a part of the process. Setbacks and challenges exist. The path is not easy and that’s why the majority don’t take it.

Example 3:

When you think: Be small. Be invisible. Hide. Stay average. Continue doing the same thing and you will be fine.

You reflect back: What is my God given purpose? How can I contribute? What is the real purpose behind my work? What values I can incorporate towards my work?

It is amazing when you do this reflective mental process again and again. It motivates you to think deeper using the broad perspective. Remember your uniqueness and difference. You are created here with your separate qualities and differences to offer something valuable and meaningful to the world.
