Recovering at Home
After being discharged from hospital, I notice a daily recovery routine at home:
Waking up in the morning, brush teeth and clean at 8.30 am.
Have breakfast and walk at 9.00 am.
Chat and playtime at 11.00 am.
Lunch and nap at 1.00 pm.
Watch cartoons and play at 2.30 pm.
Snack and play in garden time at 4.30 pm.
Bath, wear pajamas and dinner at 7.30 pm.
When we stick to such a daily routine, I find clarity and gaps to organize tasks and home activities. Also schedules and jobs fall into order.
Finally, I thank the support system we have of family and friends who are there for us with words, assistance and dua’a throughout this long healing journey.
