The Stillness of Staying at Home
When it is holiday or weekend, you find yourself at home completing whatever pending tasks you have.
I am not sure if anyone can understand this post. But don’t you notice those pause moments at home when new and fresh thoughts and ideas cross your mind?
They appear occasionally when doing the laundry, making breakfast, arranging clothes, making the beds and chilling and chatting with family members.
I think we need those pause moments especially with the fast paced life set-up we live now. They remind you of your background, your purpose and role in this earth hotel, the gifts and blessings we already have and the hiding potential that needs to express itself.
For me personally, those pause moments calm my nerves, slows my monkey mind, remind me to breath, indicate the big divine picture and help me connect the dots when I reflect backwards.
So if you find yourself in a hurry and obsessing about your to-do-list, come back to your centre. Remember your origin and where you come from. Take your time doing your activities one by one. And reflect and contemplate to live and experience life to the maximum.
