Are You Really the Controller?

Can you really control the situation? Can you really predict what can happen? Can you really perfect the situation to meet your specific expectations?

My son’s disease and his recovery taught me a lot to let go of the inner struggle.

With my historical habit of over-thinking and obsessing, I would say to myself: What if this treatment doesn’t work? What could happen to his spine? What if all this suffering is a waste of time? What if and what if?

Then I refer to the divine lens. Who is the real controller of the situation? Whatever, the good and bad, the harm and wellness, from where they actually come from?

Doing this reflective process releases me from the unnecessary burdens of overthinking and worrying. It reminds me of who I am, my human role in this earth hotel and what I need to do to make the best out of my temporary time here.
