Career Switch

What about changing career? Do you really need to hook yourself to a career all your life? What if changing career is possible? What if it is actually healthy to change careers? What are the pros and cons of not changing and changing your career?

When I think about career switch, it is like broadening your perspective in a field. It increases your knowledge, experience and skills. It satisfies your learning thirst. Also it breaks the routine and structure of doing the same thing every time you go to work.

The problem majority of us face is we put forward our negative thinking. What if something bad happens? What if I fail? What if people laugh at me? What if it didn’t work out the way I want? What if I get a lower salary as a result? What if I might not be good enough in the new job? And on and on the mental pattern goes on.

It is important to become aware of this mental pattern. Most of the time it is only us who stand on the way of our own development and growth.

So, the bottom line is you are not forced to to work in one job, do one thing and communicate with one category of people. It is your personal and empowered choice to change and select the career that you believe will fill up your learning cup and curiosity.
