Fake Niceness

In life we often find people who act so nice, kind, gentle and generous.

Then later you realize that niceness having intentions that don’t resonate with your core values.

In such a context, I privately reflect: Am I really that fool to fall for this niceness trap? How this kindness can serve me if it goes against my core values? All positive actions and deeds fall apart if the intention is evil and not pure.

So be aware of such people. Don’t always keep positive expectations. In fact, we often need to also keep negative expectations with such people to be aware.

Open your eyes. Don’t be naïve, sweet and pleasing all the time. There are many situations where you need to be the straightforward, harsh, to the point, disappointing and upsettingly honest.

It doesn’t matter if the other person gets upset or disappointed. What matters is your core values, what resonates best with you and you living a meaningful and purposeful life.
