A Sign from the Universe
Today happens to be 30th of Ramadhan in 2025. We are preparing for Eid physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
Around 11.00 am, I took my 4 year old son to get his hair trimmed in the barber shop where I always go. But surprisingly it was closed. So we changed our destination to the kids barber shop in Al Bahja Mall.
We entered the shop and we were given a number 18 to wait in the line.
Then we sat on the sopha facing the shop entrance where Omantel branch was next to us.
An old man crossed in front of my eyes and entered the branch.
He was short and had a bump on his back.
I was so curious about him. I guess becuase he has got similar condition as my son.
Then he left the branch and approached an ATM machine with a customer representative.
There he was, standing firm and strong, talking to her with his back bump.
During this scene, I was internally reflecting: He has got similar disease as my son. But he has grown with it. He adopted and adjusted his lifestyle. He normalized it and its a part of him. I don’t know how my son will be into his adulthood life. But I pray he adopts and this disease to be kind and peace on him.
Such incidents in life, I always perceive them as signs from Allah. Nothing happens for no reason. It is like Allah is telling me: Don’t give up. Don’t lose hope. Anything is possible. Your son will grow healthy and will live a fulfilling and inspiring life.
