Mind Living to Experience Living

With the conditioning we lived in the past, you notice yourself most of the time in your mind thinking, worrying and obsessing of what if.

Then later after passing by several life experiences, you realize it is not worth it. Our life in this earth hotel is quite short. Nowadays people die regardless of their age, health status and position.

With this in mind, did you ever wonder: What if I experience life as it is? What if I get out of my head and into experiencing life? What if I turn my thinking pattern from thinking too much to experiencing life and the present moment?

When I did this mental shift, many things in my life shifted. My tensions and pressures reduced. I gave attention to the things that matter most to me at a time. Some people disappeared and others showed up. The life arrangements rearranged itself to match my state of mind.

When you experience life, the whole of it, you realize you are a precious human being who is given this privilege to exist here and witness the life creation.

If you want to test this idea, do this following practice daily:

When driving to work, switch of all distractions like music, audiobook, podcast or YouTube. Pay attention to your driving, your hands holding the car stirring and your feet pressing the gas.

Now shift your focus to the cars near you and in front of you. See the cars turning left and right. The size and colour of the cars.

If you are in traffic now, notice the trees and bushes beside the road. Observe the cleaners cleaning the road. Look at the sky, road, cars and trees all together as a picture. How the sunlight decorate the grass and trees like crystal diamonds. How the tree leaves and branches move with the wind. The foot path beside the large trees.

Now notice your speed increasing and reducing according to traffic. Observe how you drive off, stop and turn to different directions on the road.

With doing this practice, you would notice your monkey mind to slow down its hyperness and sensitivity. It lets go of its rigidity and tightness. It enters a different state. Here you really taste the flavour of life whether it is sweet or bitter. A sense of gratitude fills you up. You start feeling lucky and grateful for the life you are leading and living. Other illusions like what people say and do, what could happen in the future, how did this happen to me, all these become meaningless in that moment.
