Nizwa Trip with Family

We had a national day vacation, 20th and 21st November, clapped with the weekend holiday.

After brainstorming ideas with the family, we decided to have a two-day trip in and around Nizwa in Oman.

Normally before the trip, I like to have an overview of the kind of activities and places we would like to do and visit.

So the plan for the trip was as follows:

On 21st November 2024:

  1. Leave home at 7:30 am and drive to Wadina Waterpark in Nizwa.

  2. Water activities, swimming, having lunch and pray Dhuhur at the water park, 9:30 am to 1:30 pm.

  3. Arrive at the hotel apartment and rest, 2 pm to 3:30 pm.

  4. Spend the evening at Nizwa Souk, 5 pm to 8 pm.

  5. Kids entertainment play area and dinner at Nizwa Grandmall, 8:30 pm to 10 pm.

On 22nd November 2024:

  1. Spend the morning at Nizwa Fort and pray Dhuhur, 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.

  2. Have lunch at a restaurant in Nizwa, 12:45 pm to 1:30 pm.

  3. Visit Oman Across Ages Museum, 2 pm to 4 pm.

  4. Drive back home, 4:30 pm to 6 pm.

The trip was lovely. We had lots of fun. The kids enjoyed too but missed home dearly also.

I always consider such trips as a break from the life tensions and pressures. It also changes your state of mind and breaks the life routine.

So if you are like me, reluctant to go out or delaying such trips and family activities, just take the option. Even if you are too lazy or not in the mood or not feeling like it, just go for it. The feeling and mood will follow later. Because when you take the option first, you encourage the feeling afterwards.
