Reflecting Quran with Teenagers

With this half term break, we have been reading Quran with my girls and reflecting also.

Each one reads a page. If there is a story happening in the page, we pause and talk about it.

I let my girls tell the story. Each one gets a turn after the other.

I am really impressed by their logic, common sense and connecting the dots and threads of the story.

Then I give them a summary of its applicability in today’s life, what is happening in our society and the tips and takeaways we take away.

Honestly when reading Quran with my kids and talking and reflecting together, it is one of the best moments in my life that I always cherish.
