My Hand Surgery
On 4th Jan 2026, it was my scheduled day for a small surgery in Khoula Hospital to remove a small sist on the palm of my right hand.
It was not painful. But it caused discomfort for me whenever I shake hands with people.
I expected it to be like 10 minutes procedure. But then I was told I need to go to the operation theatre room and be sedated for this procedure. The surgeon laughed and told me: You need to relax. Don’t worry. You will be fine.
After few minutes, something covered my eyes. It was rays of orange, red and brown colors. I couldn’t move my hands or do anything. But I was aware. Then I felt the surgical cut on the palm of my hand. Again I couldn’t do anything.
Then I woke up with headache, feeling nausia and drowsy. The nurse told me it is temporary and it will fade away.
The same day at 8:30 pm, I left the hospital and I was advised not to use my right hand for two weeks.
