Someone Pick You or You Pick You?
This is very common and typical. In career, home, society or business, you wait someone to pick you, find you, notice you, recognise your efforts, realize your creativity and appreciate your hard work.
Now reverse your mental thinking for a moment. What if you pick you instead? What about you pick your job instead of others pick you?
Here you may wonder: How can I pick me? Others should appreciate me. Others should notice me. Others should discover how talented I am.
Well the harsh truth here is: No body cares. Everyone minds their own business. Everyone has got a life to live and value to contribute.
If you tie your worthiness and value to others, you would remain stuck and fixed in one place.
It is so freeing and liberating when you go internally, contemplate, discover who you really are and cut the ties that bond you with others.
You are not living life for others but for you. Give up that idea of sacrifice for others, please others and meet their expectations. You and others are dead anyway, any time, sooner or later. So what’s the point?
