Vulnerably Be Seen

There is this motivational episode in You Tube I listened today and it made me cry.

The part that affected me emotionally and deeply is when Dr. Brene Brown said: If you practice courage and bravery, you have got to step into the arena, show up and be vulnerably seen.

That statement reminds me of the endless moments I closed off, shut down, hesitated, pulled back and gave myself the uncountable excuses of why I didn’t show up the way I really want to.

Is it a childhood wound? Is it the fear of rejection and critic? Is it the worry not to fit in and belong?

The problem is the more you cross scenarios in life, the more they bring you back to this truth: You are human. Accept your smallness and imperfection. Be okay with where you are. It doesn’t matter what they say or what they think. What matters is where you stand, what you stand for, what you believe and what you value.
