What about us Women?

When I look at us women, I see so much value and divine love pouring on us. The many recites in Quran where Allah protects us, values us and doesn’t differentiate us from men.

He clarified clearly our roles and rights in different situations and contexts. What I also observe in the many recites is that women were created with a huge capacity to love, nurture and give.

Not to forget, he has given each one of us an individual and separate voice. When Allah says: “ Everyone shall be presented before him individually on the day of judgment” in Surat Maryam, Aya 95, what does this point to? It means don’t ignore your truest voice and opinion.

I know many times we hesitate, worry we may upset others and fear others to get mad. But the truth is you have got your own voice. If you don’t know it yet, get still and stop what you are doing. Go deep inside yourself and get to discover it bit by bit. It is there just waiting for you to reflect and come back to it.

Lastly, if you are not sure of your place as a woman in this earth hotel, I encourage you to refer to the recites in the Holy Book of Quran like Surat An’Nesaa, Surat Al-Qesas and others. When reading, you would realize your truest God given value and what you are meant to be doing in this earth hotel.
