A Student of Life

I have an interesting story of learning and being a student. When I started my journey as a student, I remember drawing nonsense things on pieces of paper. Then I remember learning to read Quran with my mom. Then starting school, primary and later secondary.

With life events, I realized that learning doesn’t happen only in school and home. It happens in life as well. The life and living are school also. Things like how to live, how to be present with your kids, how to be curious towards your opinions and values, how to say no and choose the kind of thoughts you want to entertain and how to intentionally live life and move from one phase to another.

This indicates that learning never stops. When you complete a course or finish a program, it doesn’t mean that’s it. It is only the beginning of a never ending cycle and journey of learning and reflecting.

So be open towards life and living. Grab every chance to learn, process the lesson and gain the wisdoms that life bring to you. If you are still stuck in that phase, it is ok. You just need more time to process and digest the life circumstances.
