Bird Knocking

There is this funny experience I see in my home. Early morning after we wake up, pray and prepare for work, there is a brown small bird flies to the living room window from outside and knocks repetitively.

When I hear the bird knocking, I say: Salam. What’s up? I hope this is a sign for positive news we will soon hear insha Allah.

I like to learn the language and cues of birds and other animals. It reminds me of our shared nature and how we can tap into our valuable humanity.
