Fireworks From My Backyard

Yesterday 30th Jan 2026, we spent the evening at our new home in Sur Al Hadid.

We haven’t shifted there yet. But we went to clean the place, shift some of our items upstairs and also welcome my mother and brothers who came later to visit us.

We prayed maghrib, ordered pizza from Papa Jones for dinner and sat outside at the backyard.

The weather was lovely. We could smell the fresh aromatic scent from the grass.

We received the pizza by the Talabat delivery guy. We ate while chatting and laughing.

Suddenly we saw parashouts in the sky throwing fireworks. This was unexpected and pleasantly surprising.

Although the fireworks period was short, we enjoyed them really.

Finally, I always like to cherish those special moments and little glimpses of surprises and positivity. I see them as signs for good things coming our way insha Allah.
