Home as a Classroom

It is summer holiday. In Oman, it is 2 months and 2 weeks. Quite long summer break.

I have been thinking to convert the home into a classroom with many activities for kids to do and learn like:

1. Help with meal prepping and cooking (Cooking Class)

2. Reading and Reflecting Quran, Dua’a and Thikir (Spirituality Class)

3. Making the bed and arranging the room corners (Hygiene Class)

4. Vacuuming the floors and swiping the surfaces (Hygiene Class)

5. Teach your sibling to read and write (Young Teacher Class)

6. Watering the garden and outdoor splash games (Fun Class)

So these are some ideas for kids to do at home during their long summer break. What about you? What you do with your kids during the holiday if you are at home?
